Notes:  On 11 May 1907 Albert emigrated to the U.S. from Southampton, England, on the vessel St. Lewis and arrived at the port of New York.  (For a photograph and information on the ship St. Lewis, click here!)  Albert previously resided in Hounslow, England.

In July 1907 Albert, at age 24, filed a Declaration of Intention to become a citizen of the U.S. and to renounce his allegiance to George V King of Great Britain and Ireland.  Albert then resided in Bellingham, Washington, worked as a farmer, and was described as being 5'11½" tall, 165 pounds, and having brown hair, brown eyes, and dark complexion.

On 27 Mar 1915 Albert filed a Petition for Naturalization to be admitted as a citizen of the U.S.  He then resided in Yakima, Washington, and worked as a farmer.

On 25 Apr 1918 Albert entered the U.S. Army, became a sergeant, served in World War I, and ended his service on 5 Dec 1918.

In Jan 1920 Albert was single, working as a secretary of a Chamber of Commerce, and residing in Marysville, Yuba County, California.

Albert adopted Ethel's three children from her prior marriage to Charles Bean.

Albert is buried at Section M Site 2279 of the Willamette National Cemetery.
