Notes: I am not 100% confident that the surname Stoffman is correct!  This surname came from Walter Buck's California death record (Source 521) — a document prepared 72 years following Sophia's death and must be considered to be secondary and unreliable information.

Further, Lillian Buck's California death record (Source 521) gives her mother's maiden name as Stoffern.  Thus we have an alternative spelling!  Lillian's record was prepared 71 years following Sophia's death and also must be considered to be secondary and unreliable information.
