Notes:  Jonathan and Matilda soon after their marriage bought 235 acres along the Salamonie River in Jackson Township, Wells County, Indiana, where they lived until November 1885.  Jonathan then sold the land and moved his family to Washington County, Arkansas, were he acquired a 95-acre farm located 8 miles east of Fayetteville and in the White River Valley.
