Anna Brown, Operator of Dallas Rooms, Dead.
The Coffeyville Daily Journal, Coffeyville, Kansas, Saturday, 19 Mar 1938, Page 1, Col. 6.
      Mrs. Anna McFarren Brown, 57, a resident of Coffeyville twenty-five years and proprietor of the Dallas rooms, died at 8:15 o'clock this morning at 108½ East Eighth street.  She had been ill a short time.
      Mrs. Brown is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Simeon Williams of Napa, Calif.; a son, Roy McFarren of Modesto, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. John Martin of Noble, Okla.
      The body was removed to the Skinner funeral home.  Arrangements for services are incomplete.

      Funeral services, in charge of the Rev. R. Ernest Gordon, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, and under direction of the Skinner funeral home, were held at the grave at Fairview cemetery at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon for Mrs. Anna McFarren Brown, 57, proprietor of the Dallas rooms, who died Saturday at 108½ East Eighth street.
