Angelo Gattavara Named Scout Head
The steady growth of Troop No. 10 Boy Scouts, has caused Napa Council No. 21, Y. M. I.,
who sponsor the troop, to appoint Angelo Gattavara to assist Scoutmaster
Lawrence Dalceit in the troop work. The meetings are held every Monday evening in St. John's Hall.

John Rossi was re-elected President of the Napa Council, No. 21, Y. M. I., at an
important meeting of the Council held Thursday evening.
The new officers of Napa Council as elected were: Marshall

Y.L.I.-Y.M.I. Delegates First Dis't Meet Tonight
Newly elected delegates who during the coming year will represent the Napa Y.L.I. and
Y.M.I. groups at the meetings of Napa-Solano district, have been named and will act in their official
capacity for the first time tonight, when they attend a b-county meeting in Benicia.
Angelo Gattavara of the local Y. M. I. will assume
the duties of new Y. M. I. District Deputy this evening.

Speakers Told For Reception of Y.M.I. Chief Here
Approximately 75 members of Napa Council No. 21, Young Men's institute, are
expected to welcome State Grand President on his official visit here tomorrow night.

list of speakers during the welcoming exercises: (including District Deputy

SOLDATI, Y.M.I. PRESIDENT, IS HONORED HERE
Surpassing attendance expections with more than 125 on hand to welcome visiting
dignitaries, Napa Council No. 21 Young Men's Institute, last night feted State Grand President Henry
J. Soldati of Petaluma on his official visit at St. John's Hall.
Following the business session Rev. Father Edward Guedet acted as toastmaster
during the banquet prepared by Chairman Angelo Gattavara and his committee.
Speakers at the banquet included: Angelo Gattavara,
district deputy.

Jesse Pittore Is Again President of YMI Council
Jesse Pittore was re-elected president of the Napa Y. M. I. Tuesday night at a
special election meeting in St. John's Hall.
Angelo Gattavara was selected financial secretary.
Plans for a retreat January 17 at Mt. La Salle were also made.
Angelo Gattavara will be in charge of the arrangements.
