| Notes: John Henry and Idalette Detwiller lived on a farm in Tyrol Twp., Griggs County,
North Dakota. In the 1910 U.S. census, a hired hand, Clarence Armison,
was enumerated with them. In the 1915 North Dakota census, Clarence was still
with them as well as a mother and daughter. In 1920 U.S. census, 1925 North
Dakota census, and the 1930 U.S. census, they were living alone. In the 1940
U.S. census, they had a hired farm
laborer living with them. On nearby farms were found other
Detwiller family members, as well as LaPlant, Pratt, and Campbell families.
It was a grain farming area. |
