Notes: In the 1920 USA census, Fred and Julia Patten were living at 103 N. Stoneman Avenue,
Alhambra, California. Fred was the proprietor of a lumberyard. They had a
seven year old son, Fred, Jr. They are found here in the 1920 and 1930 USA census
records, and in the Alhambra City Directory, 1946. Their son Fred, Jr.,
died 10 Mar 1935.
In the 1940 USA census, their home was valued at $5,000.
After Fred's death 3 Aug 1947, Julia continued to reside in the family home.
In the 1950 U.S. census,Julia A. Patten, 70, was still living in the family home. Her sister
Emma W. Romandy, 78, was living with her. Julia died 5 Jun 1960. Emma died
24 Jul 1961. |
