Notes: This 1,100 Sq.ft. home located at 4758 Norwich Avenue in the Sherman Oaks area
of Los Angeles was built in 1941. William and Jean Noble were registered to vote
at this address during the years 1941 through 1952.
In the 1940 U.S. census, William C. Noble, 30, and Jean C. Noble, 29, were living here.
William was a public schoold teacher, and Jean was a cashier in a retail shoe store.
This is where they were living when their three children were born.
In the 1950 U.S. census, Wm. C. Noble, 39, and Jean Noble, 38, were still living in their
Norwich Street home. William was a high school Vice Principal. Their children
were Linda, 7, Gregory W., 5, and Penelope, 2.
They are seen at left with family members in 1946. At right is a photograph of the house
in 2011, now 2,165 Sq. ft, and with the vegetation fully grown. (It may be a photograph of a
