Notes: In the 1940 U.S. census, Leo Felix, 30, and his wife Utahna Felix, 29, were living at
727 South Fourth East, Springville, Utah, Utah. They owned their residence, valued at $5,000. It
was the same house as in 1935. Leo was a janitor for the high school, and had completed four years of
high school. Utahna had completed two years of high school. The children were L. Lavar, 6,
attending school, and Geniel, 2.
727 South Fourth East was their lifelong residence. The Provo, Utah, City Directory (Springville) lists
them from 1939 through 1973. Leo's occupation through the years included janitor at Springville High
School, carpenter for Columbia Steel Co., and operator and carpenter for Geneva Steel. |
