Notes: Mary Louise Ashlock was born 2 Aug 1927 in Abilene, Taylor Texas. She was the first daughter of Raymond Ashlock and Bertha M. Seybold. Her sister was born 18 Jul 1929 in Abilene.

In the 1930 U.S. census, Mary was living with her family at 3157 South Second, Abilene, Taylor Texas. They were renting the residence for $25. per month, and had a radio set. Her father Raymond was a carpenter in the building industry. The children were May L., 3, and Norma Lee, 9 months. Living with the family was Mary's maternal grandfather, Seth Seybold, and a maternal uncle, Carl Seybold, both of whom were cement finishers.

Mary's parents evidently divorced, and Mary moved with her mother and sister to Southern California. Her mother married Merrill A. Parrino and Mary eventually had three Parrino half-sisters - Merrillyn, Jo Ann and Helen Izora.

In the 1940 U.S. census, Mary was living with her family at 4438 Turquoise Street, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California. They were renting their home in the neighborhood of Montecito Heights, just east of Alhambra for $25. per month. Her step-father Merrill A. Parrino was a crossing guard for a local school district. The census record identifies Mary and Norma with the surname of Parrino. The children were Mary L., 12, 6th grade completed, Norma L., 10, 4th grade completed, Merrillyn 5, and Jo Ann, 4. Also in the household was Mary's maternal grandfather, Seth Seybold.

By 1946 the Parrino family was living at 501 South 6th Street, Alhambra, California. Her step-father Merrill was a factory worker. Coincidentally, Mary's future husband's family home was 419 South 6th Street, Alhambra.

Mary Louise Ashlock married Frank W. Olson on 5 Oct 1947 in California, exact place unknown. They had a family of four children.

In 1953, Mary and Frank were living at 4527 N. Sultana Avenue, Temple City, California. By 1956, Mary and Frank were living in their life-long home at 325 South Third, Alhambra, California. Her husband Frank worked for various lumber and screen companys and he owned his own company, Frank Olson Screen Company, in San Gabriel in 1962.

Mary and Frank retired to San Diego, California. Frank Wilfred Olson died 9 Aug 2015 in San Diego, San Diego, Caliornia. Mary Louise Olson died 6 Feb 2017. Both are buried in the Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, California.
