Notes: Virginia Chaloupek was born in 1915 in Chelsea, Tama, Iowa. Her parents were Edward John Chaloupek and Emily Marie Dvorak. In the 1920 U.S. census, the family was living in Chelsea. Her father was a salesman, working in a store. Living with the family was her paternal grandfather, John Chaloupek, born in Bohemnia, now the Czech Republic. In the 1925 Iowa State census, Virginia, age 10, had a brother, A.J.(John) age 4. In the 1930 U.S. census, her father was a merchant in a general store, working on his own account. The family owned their home, valued at $2,500. and they had a radio.

Virginia may have married a Robin H. Watt. In the 1940 U.S. census, Virginia, age 25, and R.H. Watt, age 26, were living at 1555 24th Street, Des Moines, Polk, Iowa. The rent was $35. per month. They had a son, David, age 7 months. Virginia had a high school education, and was a stenographer, working for the state government. She had earned $1,200. the prior year. Her husband also had a high school education, and was a cook for a men's dormitory. He had earned $530. the prior year. The census reports that in 1935, Virginia was living in Willow Springs, Howell, Missouri. In the Des Moines, Iowa, City Directory, 1941,a Virginia and Robin Watt were living at 1015 Clark; he was a salesman. It is not known what hapened to this marriage, or child.

Virginia Chaloupek Watt moved to California, and married Frank Thomas Olson on 19 Nov 1946, in Alhambra, Los Angeles, California. In the San Marino, California, City Directory, 1950 through 1952, Virginia and Frank are listed living at 1541 Euston Ave., San Marino. In the 1953 directory, their address is 1145 Oakwood Drive, San Marino. Frank was the owner of the Olson Lumber Company, Alhambra. They visited Hawaii, as the passenger lists record them leaving Honolulu on 28 Dec 1953 aboard the S.S. Lurline, bound for Los Angeles, via Hilo, Hawaii.

Nothing more is known about Virginia, or about the marriage, which ended before 1955.
