Notes:  Willard John Sinclair (Bill) was born 2 Mar 1909, probably in Cucamonga Twp., San Bernardino, California.  His parents were Robert and Belle Sinclair, both born in California.  In the 1910 USA census, the family, which included his older sister Gladys, was living on Etiwanda Avenue in the Cucamonga Twp.  His father was a farmer working for others.  When his father registered for the World War draft in 1917, the family was living in Littlerock in the Antelope Twp.  His father listed himself as a teamster.  By the 1920 USA census, they now had their own fruit ranch.  Bill had two more sisters, Genevive and Grace.  His father Robert died some time before 1930, as he is not found in the 1930 USA census or voter registration records.  His mother Belle was now listed as a fruit rancher, and he himself was an engineer for an ice and cold storage company.

According to family records, Bill married Evelyn Mary Carr in 1932, and they had two children.  Their long time family home was in Littlerock, Los Angeles, California.  In the 1940 USA census, Bill and Evelyn were living in the home of her parents in Little Rock.  Bill was a stationery engineer at the local ice plant.  He had a highschool education.  Their daughter was five years old.  Their son was born in 1943.

Bill died in Jan 1978 in Littlerock, and is buried in Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Palmdale, California.
