Notes:  Fredrick Anhorn (Fred) was born 15 Jan 1909 in Irvine, Alberta, Canada.  He was the fourth of ten children of Joseph Anhorn and Christina Mueller, immigrants from Russia.  In the 1916 Saskatchewan census, Joseph, 34, and Christina, 35, were living in the Rural Municipality of Big Arm, Last Mountain, Saskatchewan.  Joseph was a farm laborer.  The children were Emil, 12, Hugo, 10, Fred, 7, Goltove(sp?), 6, and John, 3 years.  In the 1921 Canada census, Joseph was now a farmer, farming on a different section.  The children were Emil, 17, and old enough to farm, Hugo, 14, Fred, 12, Golloff (sp?), 10, and John, 8.

As told by Fred in The Imperial Review [p. 116-117], he came to Imperial in 1936, and married Vina Gullacher of Imperial.  They live on the Gullacher farm for several years, and had four children.  They left the farm, and Fred drove a truck for the Imperial Garage for many years.  After working on the farm for two years, he drove for Mel Cam Equipment, then Mid Town Equipment.  His wife Vina passed away in 1980, and is buried in the Imperial Cemetery, Imperial.

Fred was active in sports, and coached the baseball and hockey teams, was a goal judge for hockey, and was active in curling.  He played the drums with a local group.

On 10 Jul 1981, Fred married Marion H. James (nee Detwiller).  Fred died 21 Sep 1989.  He is buried in the Imperial Cemetery, next to his first wife.
