Notes:  According to family sources, Elizabeth Jane Detwiller was born 13 Jul 1910 in Fort Hood, Washington.  Her parents were William George Detwiller & Greta Beach.  She was usually known by her middle name Jane.  Her sister Eloise Alberta was born in 1914 in Skamania, Washington.

In the 1921 Canada census, Jane was living with her family in Wood Creek, Last Mountain, Saskatchewan.  Her father was working on his brothers' farms.  The family moved back to the United States.

In the Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1928, the family was living at 3711 Cambridge, Seattle.  E. Jane, was listed as a stenographer for C.P. Cox Corp.  In the 1930 U.S. census, the family was living at 9281 46 Ave. S.W., Seattle.  Her father William was a salesman of stocks and bonds.  Elizabeth, age 19 was a stenographer for the Dunn Lumber Co., and sister Eloise, age 16, was not working.  In the Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1931, the family was listed at 3940 W. Rose.  Jane was a stenographer for BM&T.

Jane married Lloyd V. Nordstrom on 1 Sep 1933 in the Fauntleroy Congregational Church, Seattle, King, Washington.  Her sister Eloise was one of the witnesses.  In the Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1934, Jane and Lloyd are listed at 509 S. 36th in Seattle.  Lloyd was a branch manager for Dictaphone Sales Corp.  In the 1935 and 1936 city directories, they are listed at 3541 S. Ainsworth, Seattle.  In 1938, they are listed at 7415 Latona Avenue, and Lloyd was a salesman for the M&S Co.

Jane and Lloyd had two sons.  In the 1940 U.S. census, the family was living in the Lakewood precinct of Seattle, with their first son, William Lloyd, age 4.  Lloyd was listed as a salesman of electrical appliances.  In 1943, their second son James Dennis, was born in Tacoma.  In the Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1953, they are listed at 11215 10th Avenue SW, Seattle, and Lloyd was a golf pro at the Glendale Country Club.  In later years, Jane and Lloyd lived in Grandview, Yakima, and Clinton on Whidbey Island, Washington.

Lloyd died 7 Jul 1992 in Clinton, Island, Washington.  Jane died 11 Mar 1993, in Seattle, King, Washington.  Their burial place is unknown.
