Notes:  Viola May Page was born 14 Jan 1918 in Alhambra, California.  Her parents were Lee Lester Page and Viola May Lipsey.  In 1920, the family was living at 100 North Second Street, Alhambra, California.  Her father was a teamster working for the county.  She had an older sister Louise, age 6, a brother Samuel, age 4½, and a younger brother John, 7 months.  Viola completed two year of college.

Viola married John Everett Baisley on 14 Jan 1938, probably in Alhambra, California.  The 1939 Alhambra City Directory lists the couple living at 39 North Second Street.  He was a lumber worker.  In the 1940 census, they were living at 105 North Second Street, Alhambra, and John was listed as a machine operator at a lumber mill.  This became their long time residence.  In the Voter Registrations records the couple are registered as Republican.

John Everett Baisley, Viola May Baisley Viola and John had three daughters.  They are shown at right at the marriage of one of their daughters in 1965.  John died in 1989, and is buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California.  Buried next to him is their daughter, Deborah Lee Baisley.  Her headstone indicates she was born in 1958 and died in 2010.

Viola died 22 November 2012, in Downey, California.  Graveside services were held 1 Dec 2012 at Rose Hills Memorial Park.  She is buried next to her husband and daughter.
