Notes:  Grace Marguerite Lewis was born 21 Feb 1902, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.  She was the ninth of twelve children of Arthur Lewis and Rosalie Anna Theodora Nielsen.  Her older siblings were Maybelle Rosalie, born in 1888, Elise Caroline, 1889, Ethel Margaret, 1891, Clarence Arthur, 1893, John Francis, 1895, Hazel Ruth, 1897, Ernest Theodore, 1898, and Ralph Lionel, 1900.  Her younger siblings were June Bernice, born in 1904, Roger Valentine, 1905, and Leonard Emery, 1910.  All of the children were born in Utah, except the youngest, Leonard. In the 1910 U.S. census, the family was living in Overton, Clark, Nevada, and were renting a house.  Her father Arthur, 43, was a florist.  Her mother Rosalie, 43, had all 12 children living at home.  These were Maybell R., 22, Elise C., 20, Ethel M., 18, Clarance A., 17, a farmer, John F., 15, Ruth H. 13, Ralph L., 9, Grace M., 8, June B., 5, Roger F., 4, and Leonard E., 5 months.  Clarence, John, Ruth, Ralph, Grace and June were attending school. In the 1920 U.S. census, Overton, Grace's parents, now 53, owned their farm free of mortgage.  Her father Arthur was a general home farmer, working on his own account.  Her mother now had only seven children at home.  These included John F., 24, a church missionary, Ernest T., 21, an apprentice machinist, Lionel R., 19, a catle ranch laborer, Grace M., 17, June B., 15, Rodger V., 14, and Emery L., 9.  The youngest four were attending school. Grace married Arville Lazell Walker 1 Jun 1925 in Overton, Clark, Nevada.  Their son Lionell Arville was born in 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Their daughter Rosalie was born in 1928 in Mindon, Douglas, Nevada. In the 1930 U.S. census, Grace and Arville and their children were living on County Road, Pioche, Lincoln, Nevada.  They owned their residence with a value of $500.  Arville was a hoisting engineer in the mining industry.  Their daughter Rosalie died in 1930. Three more daughters were born to the family.  These included Marguerite, Carol, and Darlene.  According to family sources, Carol was born in 1932 in Cedar City, Iron, Utah, and died in 1933 in St. George, Washington, Utah. In the 1940 U.S. census, Pioche, the family was living in the same house as in 1935.  Arville was a hoisting engineer in a lead zinc mine.  Their children were Lionell, Marguerite, and Darlene.  Grace had completed 2 years of college.  Arville retired in 1967 from Reynolds Electric where he was an operating engineer.  At some point in time, Grace and Arville moved to Henderson, Clark, Nevada.  Arville died in 1984 at their home in Henderson.  Grace died 11 Jan 1995 in Henderson.  They are buried in Panaca Memorial Park, Panaca, Lincoln, Nevada.
