Notes:  Carl Wilson Street was born 1 Jul 1915 in Fayetteville, Lincoln, Tennessee.  He was the fourth of five children of Rufus C. Street and Willie (Wilma) Lee Burrum.  His older sisters were twins Annie May and Ruby Kathleen, born in Sep 1913.  Annie May died the day of birth.  The family moved to Pueblo, Pueblo, Colorado, where is sister Dorothy Louise was born in Jun 1920.  The family moved to Provo, Utah, Utah, where a brother was born in Jan 1927.  Nothing more is known about the brother.

In the 1930 U.S. census, the family was living at 246 N. 2nd East in the 5th Ward of Provo, Utah, Utah.  His father Rufus was a heater boss in a coke steel mill.  The family was renting their residence for $37.50 per month and did not have a radio set.  The children were Ruby K., 16, Wilson, 14, and Louise, 9, all attending school.

Carl sometimes referred to as C. Wilson, married Zella Peterson on 10 Nov 1939 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.  The ceremony was performed by Bishop Hartley.  [See newspaper text.]  This was the second marriage for Zella.  At the time of their marriage, Carl was employed by the Utah Construction Company.

In the 1940 U.S. census, the couple was living with his parents at 260 E. 2nd North, Provo, Utah, Utah.  Carl was working for the Tri-States Lumber Company.  He had completed one year of college.  Zella was a switch board operator for the Mountain States Telephone Company.  His father Rufus was the general plant foreman for the Columbia Steel Company.

In 1944, Carl and Zella are listed in the Provo, Utah, City Directory at 855 N 3d West, Provo.  Carl was a foreman with Geneva Steel.  It is believed the family had four daughters.

Carl and Zella moved to Pittsburg, Contra Costa, California.  In the 1947, 1949 and 1952 Pittsburg, California, City Directories they are listed at 47 Columbia Park.  Carl was a foreman for the Columbia Steel Company.  In 1955 and 1959 they are listed at 90 Marcia Court, West Pittsburg.  In 1960 they and two of their daughters are listed at 58 Lakeview Drive, in the Shore Acres area of Pittsburg.

Zella returned to Provo, Utah, where a divorce was granted according to family members on 22 Apr 1964.  It is reported in the Sunday Herald (Provo, Utah) in April 1965.  Custody arrangements were made for the minor children.

Carl's final residence was in El Centro, Imperial, California.  He died 29 Jun 1990.  His burial place is unknown.
