Notes: Nella Robison was born 8 Sep 1911 in Hinckley, Millard, Utah. She was the second child of George Albert Robison and Laura Barbara Walker. Her birth certificate lists her father as a farmer and mother as a housewife. She had an older brother Alden V., born in 1909. Her younger siblings were Ava Leah, born in 1913 but died in 1914; and Benjamin H., born in 1915.

In the 1920 U.S. census, Nella was living with her family in a rented residence at 392 North 3rd East Street, Logan, Cache, Utah. Her father George was listed as having no occupation, but was attending the Utah Agricultural College. The children were Alden V., 10, Nella, 8, and Benjamin H., 4. The older two children were in school.

Nella had four more siblings. Ruth was born in 1920, and George Almon was born in 1922. Her brother Alden came down with influenza and died in 1926. Her brother Francis W. was born in 1927 and her sister Barbara in 1929.

In the 1930 U.S. census, Nella was living with her family on North Main Street, Hinckley, Millard, Utah. Her family owned their farm, but had no radio set. Her father George was an inspector for the state agricultural department. The children were Nella, 18, Benjamin, 14, Ruth, 10, G. Almon, 8, Francis 2, and Barbara, 1. The older four children attended school. Her youngest brother Clair Albert was born in 1930.

Nella graduated from Hinckley Academy and continued on to Brigham Young University. She was a member of Tam Man, and received her Normal diploma in nutrition and elementary education in 1931. She taught first and second grades, and was assigned to Delta Elementary in 1933.

Nella married Bernard Roberton Jackson on 8 Sep 1933 in Las Vegas, Clark, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. In the 1940 U.S. census, Nella and her husband Bernard were living in Sutherland, Millard, Utah, on their own farm, valued at $1,000. They were living in the same place as five years previous. Bernard was a farmer, farming on his own account. Nella had completed three years of college. They had two children, Robert, 5, and Loni A., 2. LeRay, Barbara and Steven were born following the 1940 U.S. census.

Nella was a member of the LDS Church, and served in various positions, including Relief Society President, counselor, secretary and Primary organist. In the community she was voting registration agent. At some point in time, Nella and Bernard moved a short distance to Delta, Millard, Utah.

Nella died 19 Sep 1996 in Provo, Utah, Utah, after 63 years of marriage. Funeral services were held 23 Sep 1996 at the Sutherland First LDS Ward. She was buried in Sutherland Cemetery, Sutherland, Millard, Utah.
