Notes:  According to family records, James Fergus McNaught married Gladys Crosby Parsons on 26 Nov 1916, presumably in Alberta.  Both are found in the 1916 Canadian census records living in Battle Creek, Alberta.  Their marriage resulted in three sons.

In the 1921 Canada census, James and Gladys were living in Ethelwyn, Battle River, Alberta.  They were farming on Sec. 12, Twp. 53, Range 5, Meridian 4, and they owned their wooden home with 6 rooms. Their first son Howard* was 3 years old.

James and Gladys returned to Huron County, Ontario, and in the 1949 through 1963 Canada Voter Lists they are found living on R.R. 3 in Monkton in 1949.  James was a farmer, and was the suscessive bee keeper for his father, Henry McNaught on Deerbank Farm.  By 1962, James was listed as semi-retired.  Their death dates are unknown.  Both are buried in the Woodland Methodist Cemetery, Mitchell, Perth, Ontario.

*Their son Howard Fergus McNaught married Florence Isabella McKay.  Both are buried in North Logan/Harvey's Cemetery, Carmunnock, Perth, Ontario.
