Ephriam Ashley Miller, Marion N. Hollinshead Notes:  Ephriam Ashley Miller and Marion Hollinshead were married 10 Aug 1916 in Seattle, The ceremony took place in the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Ina and Clement Crait, with whom she had been living.  C.A. Clement and Robert E. Curtis were official witnesses to the ceremony performed by the Rev. A. M. Williams.

According to family records, their first son, Robert A. Miller, was probably born in California in Mar 1917, but died 29 Oct 1917 at age 7 months in Hood River, Oregon.  When Ephriam registered for the World War I draft, the family was living in Portland, Oregon with their 3 month old baby.  Robert was buried 31 Oct 1917 in the Idlewilde Cemetery, Hood River, Oregon.

Ephriam and Marian moved to Southern California, where their next three sons were born.  Ashley E. Miller, or Ned, was born 5 Oct 1918 in Los Angeles County.  In the 1920 U.S. census, the family was living in Placentia, Orange County.  Their son John Earl Miller was born 27 Jul 1920 in Fullerton, and son Lawrence Noble Miller was born 5 Nov 1922 in Placentia.  Ned died young while the family was living in California.

Ephriam and Marion, with sons John and Lawrence, moved to Seattle, Washington, where they are found living in the 1930 U.S. census.  Kenneth Q. Miller was born 9 Oct 1930 in Seattle.  Shortly thereafter, they moved to Oregon, where Donald Lee Miller was born 9 Jan 1932 in Hood River, and where Marion finally gave birth to a daughter.  In the 1940 U.S. census, the family was living in Odell, Oregon, just south of Hood River. Ephriam died 19 Mar 1957 in Portland, Oregon, and was buried in the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.  Marion died 13 Oct 1976 in Hood River, Oregon and was buried in the Willamette National Cemetery next to her husband.
