| Obituary. Irene Sullivan Walker "Irene Walker Sullivan, a 52 - year resident of Richland passed away Thursday, October 24, 1996, at her home. Irene, the baby of eight children, was born in Pioche, Nevada, to Frank and Hattie Walker. Irene graduated from Lincoln County High School in Panaca, Nevada, Nevada, and soon after married Daniel Willis Sullivan. She had a varied working career in several Richland Grocery stores, a secretary at Westinghouse Hanaford Company and a quality assurance specialist at Sandvik Special Metals. But her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Irene was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent many memorable hours working with the youth of the church. Her last years were spent enjoying a very full life with her family and friends. Her thoughtfulness, compassion and willingness to give to others will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dannie; daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen and Fred Lloyd, Dana and Richard Spohr of Richland; daughter and son-in-law FayEola and DeVaun Liechty of Scottsdale, AZ; three granddaughters, seven grandsons, three great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. She was preceeded in death by her daughter Genell Sullivan as well as all of her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jadwin Chapel, 1321 Jadwin Ave., Richland, WA, October 28, 1996 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 S. Union, Kennewick, WA. Visitations are Sunday, October 27, 1996 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Einans's Funeral home, Swift Boulevard and Highway 240 in Richland."
