Pianist Dies Of Hurts Suffered In November Near Bakersfield       LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10.  —  (INS)  —  Marguerite Bitter, 50, noted concert pianist and artist faculty member of the University of California School of Music, has died as the result of an automobile accident near Bakersfield last November.
      Her husband, Arthur H. Clayton, a school principal, and mother, Mrs. Louise M. Bitter, also were injured in the crash.
      The pianist had toured the United States and Canada in concerts, appeared with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and frequently played the piano in motion pictures, including The Cat and The Fiddle.

Slippery Streets Takes Man's Life       Concert Pianist, Miss Marguerite Bitter Clayton, 50, died yesterday in a sanitarium of injuries received in an auto accident with her husband Oct. 30 near Bakersfield.
      A famed musician, Mrs. Clayton toured the United States and Canada and has appeared in the Hollywood Bowl with Jose Iturbi.  She was a member of the University of Southern California School of Music faculty.
      She will be buried in Calvary Cemetery Tuesday following a 10 a.m. Requiem Mass at St. Agnes Church in Los Angeles.
