Progress Club Has Lovely Luncheon       One of the lovely social events of the Culver City-Palms Progress club was given yesterday afternoon at the Ham-Tree Inn in celebration of Washington's birthday    .     .     .    a delightful program was presented with Marguerite Bitter Clayton, nationally known pianist who presented several piano selections.  Miss Clayton was formerly with the New York Symphony orchestra and is one of the outstanding artists in musical circles on the West coast.  Mrs. Louise Bitter had charge of the afternoon program.
