Muriel Helen Morrow (July 19, 1923 - August 13, 2012
Muriel Helen Morrow (nee Detwiller) passed away peacefully August 13, 2012 at Surrey Memorial Hospital at the age
of 89. Muriel was born in Alexander, Manitoba July 19, 1923. She graduated from nursing school in
Brandon, Manitoba and spent her nursing career as a Registered nurse at VGH and Surrey Memorial Hospital. She
is predeceased by her husband, Eldon Morrow and a son, Bruce Morrow. She is survived
by two daughters, Linda
Devereaux of Surrey, BC and Patricia Fairall of Summerland, BC, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four
nephews and nieces and 12 great nephews and nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday,
Sept 15, 2012 from Avalon Funeral home in Surrey, 13288 108th Avenue, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers,
donations will be greatly accepted by the Alzheimer's Society. The family would like to extend their thanks
and appreciation for the outstanding care Muriel received at Surrey Memorial.
