Springville Couple Wed 50 Years
      SPRINGVILLE - Commemorating their 57th wedding anniversary Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Greener received congratulations from relatives and friends at their home, Fifth South, Fourth East st.
      Married at Joseph, Sevier county, Oct. 27, 1888, they came to Springville in 1919 from Hinckley, where they had resided 27 years.  They had previously lived at Kanosh and Sevier.
      Mr. Greener took an active part in civic affairs at Hinckley, where he was a successful farmer and stockman.  Prior to moving to Springville, he served in the northwestern states L.D.S. mission.
      He was a counselor in the Springville First L.D.S. ward bishopric from 1920 to 1924, assisting with plans for the chapel of the ward.
      He was born at Fort Ephraim Jan. 13, 1868.  Mrs. Lucinda Peterson Greener was born at Lehi. Jan. 29, 1872.  She has always been active in L.D.S. church work.
      They have a daughter and three sons, Mrs. Jacob Felix, Springville; John Greener, Heber City; J.A. and Ray Greener, Helper.
