Felixes Celebrate 67 Years
      SPRINGVILLE - Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Felix, Springville, celebrated their sixty-seventh wedding anniversary Wednesday with a day with their family.
      The parents of four daughters and two sons, they have lived in Springville for the past 35 years, in the same house on 689 S. 400 E. where they settled to make it more convenient for Mr. Felix to get to his job with the Denver-Rio Grande Western Railroad.  He worked for the railroad for 42 years prior to his retirement.
      Mr. Felix was born in Switzerland Dec. 10, 1886 and came to America when he was only 12 years old.  Active in the LDS Church most of his life, he held numerous positions.  He is a high priest and has served in the Sunday School superintendency, as a home missionary, and was on the Kolob Stake High Council for many years.
      When he was 19, he helped to bring his parents and most of his 14 brothers and sisters to this country in 1907.
      Mrs. Permelia Greener Felix was born in Joseph, Sevier county, July 20 1889, and spent her early life in Hinckley, Millard county.  She is a member of the DUP, and has been a teacher in various auxiliary organizations in the LDS Church.  She has been a Sunday School teacher and served for seven years as secretary for the YWMIA, as it was called in that day.  She has also served as a home missionary.
      The Felixes have 20 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
