      DUANE STEWART has been selected by the College Awards Committee of the Brigham Young University to be honored May 16 at the Hall of Fame.  The Asahel D. Woodruff Scholarship will be presented to him at this time.
      The presentation is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the Smith Family Living Center.  A reception will follow the program.
      Duane is the son of the late George L. and Clara W. Stewart of Hinckley.  He graduated from Hinckley High and attended the College of Southern Utah, Cedar City.  He filled a two and a half year mission for the LDS Church in Finland.  Immediately upon his return he joined the Army and spent two years in Germany assigned to the Medical Corps.
      On his return he enrolled at BYU where he received is BS degree, Masters degree and on May 27 he will receive his Doctor's degree.
      He is married to the former Marcia Matice of Tuscon, Ariz. and they have four children, sons, Douglas and Preston and daughters, Dianne and Stephanena.
