20 Napa College Students Off For 72-Day Tour of Europe Twenty Napa Valley college students departed for Europe this week for a 72-day tour under the direction of Dr. Leo Trepp, Napa College instructor. [See Full Text] 84 Napa College Students Return From Euopean Summer Tour A well-traveled contingent of Napa College students were welcomed home this week by parents, teachers and friends eagerly awaiting personal reactions to experiences on an educational tour on the European continent. The 20 students filled with enthusiam for further knowledge about 17 countries visited during the summer jaunt are — Daniel Hancock, (and) Andrea Lacaze. Highlights of Tour Told Soroptimists Seeing Europe through the eyes of two Napa students was the pleasure of the members of the Soroptimist International of Napa at their luncheon this week. Carol Gardner and Daniel Hancock were the guests for the meeting with their teacher, Dr. Leo Trepp, who arranged the tour last summer and accompanied 20 students to Europe. Carol told of her "dream-like" trip and highlights of the 70 days abroad, and Daniel showed movies of the tour, which covered Germany, France, Italy and England. Soroptimists Hear Carol Gardner Talk on Teenage European Trip By MAY OSINGA Those privileged to attend the luncheon meeting of Napa Soroptimist October 16 were treated to a guided tour through parts of Germany, Austria, Bavaria, Italy and Switzerland. Providing narration to the beautiful color movies which he had taken was Daniel Hancock, aided and abetted by Dr. Leo Trepp of Napa College. | ||||
