| Notes: In the 1940 U.S. census, Bruce LaPlant, 38, and his wife Edna LaPlant, 34, were living in
Cooperstown, Griggs, North Dakota. Bruce was a salesman for the Arneson-Loder Imp.
Co., selling farm equipment, and had completed eighth grade. Edna had completed
four years of high school. They were renting their residence for $16. per month.
In 1935, they had been living in rural Griggs County. Their daughters Shirley, 12, had
completed eighth grade, and Lois, first grade. |
