Notes:  Sarah Speer was born cir 1802 in New Jersey.  She married Samuel Corey about 1824, and they had a family of four children.

In the 1850 U.S. census, Sarah, 48, and her husband Samuel Corey, 50, were living in the North Ward of Newark, Essex, New Jersey.  Samuel was a carman.  Their sons Wheelock, age 23, and David, age 18, were also carmen.  Their daughter Lydia was 16.

Sarah died in April 1857, and was buried 10 Apr 1857 in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Sec. P, Lot 57, Newark, Essex, New Jersey.
