Ballard-Mills Vows Said August 3rd
      On Friday evening, August 3, 1962 at 8:30 in the First Presbyterian Church of Sherman Oaks, marriage vows were exchanged by Leslie Ann Ballard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Ballard of Van Nuys and Robert Lawrence Mills, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Lawrence Mills of Riverside.  The ceremony was performed by Dr. Douglas D. Tiffany assisted by Rev. Frank C. Hughes in the presence of two-hundred guests.
      Linda Jean Noble, cousin of the bride was her maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Susan Marlette and Joyce Bixler.
      Richard Overturf served as best man to the bridegroom and William S. Ballard, brother of the bride and Ronald McKenzie acted as ushers.
      The Ballards are former Murietta residents and the new Mrs. Mills attended the Elsinore High School, the University of California at Davis, University of Hawaii and the San Jose State College and is a member of Chi Omega Soriety.  Her father is a music arranger for the Lawrence Welk and Freddie Martin orchestras and recording director for the Ray Conniff orchestra.
      The bridegroom is vice-president of Pacific Magnetic Corp. of which his father is president.  He is a graduate of Deephaven High School in Excelsior, Minn., Riverside City College and San Jose State College where he is affiliated with Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity.
