Newspapers.com.  The Star Ledger (Newark, New Jersey, Mon., May 16, 1910, p. 6, col. 4. Deaths in the Suburban Towns DANIEL W. BALDWIN       Daniel W. Baldwin, 64 years old, a Civil War veteran, died last night at his home, on Arlington avenue, Caldwell.  He was a drummer-boy in Company D, Twenty-sixth New Jersey Volunteers.  He was born in Caldwell, where he passed most of his life.  Mr. Baldwin was a painter by trade, which business he followed up to about two weeks ago, when he took a severe cold, which developed into pneumonia.  His death was sudden, as his health has always been good.  He leaves a wife and two sons, Leslie and Edward Baldwin, of Newark.  The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 o-clock.  Bartlett Post, G.A.R. will have charge.  Interment will be in Caldwell Cemetery.
