Clifford Ferrell President of Oxt Students
As a result of election returns announced Wednesday,
Cifford Ferrell of Alhambra was named president
of the Associated Students of Occidental College for the year 1938-39.
Ferrell defeated the other finalist candidate, Alfred Walz of Eagle Rock,
by a vote of 279-174.

Honor Oxy Juniors
Outstanding college juniors selected by Occidental for the year are:
Al Walz, Aubrey Davis, Clifford Ferrell, Harlan Palmer, Roy Tweedie
and Arthur Cresse jr. These students are given this honor by the outstanding juniors of
last year who are now seniors. Those so honored this year, will in turn, next year select
the outstanding juniors.
