Newspapers.com. The Central New Jersey Home News (New Brunswick, New Jersey) Mon. Oct 8, 1928, p. 6, col. 2. GEORGE E. FRANCIS DIES AT SOMERVILLE SOMERVILLE, Oct. 8 — George L. Francis, aged fifty-three years, of 75 North Gaston avenue, passed away Saturday after an illness of about a month. He had been employed for some time at the Duke estate, and is survived by his wife, one son George, and two daughters, the Misses Ida and Gladys, all at home. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence, the service being conducted by Rev. William M. Kennedy, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Internment will be in the New Cemetery. Mr. Francis was a member of the Neshanic Methodist Episcopal Church.
