Notes: After he married, George and his wife resided with the Pendleton family in Placer County, California. In 1910 George three of his brothers there reported their occupation as gold miner.

In 1920 George registered to vote as a Democrat in Santa Cruz County, California — and reported his occupation as fisherman. He was then 38 years old and living with his wife in his parents' home in Santa Cruz.

By 1930 George and his wife were still living in the family home, but they were then listed as the heads of household. By this time they owned and operated a nursery — and raised begonias and huge carnations.

In 1940 and 1942 George registered to vote as a Democrat in Santa Cruz and reported his occupation as florist.

George passed on in 1959 at age 77 years.
