Notes:  Edgar married the love of his life, Betty Wilson, in February 1942.  He already had had four years of college when he enlisted in the U.S. Army on 3 Jul 1942 — just 4½ months into his marriage.  Edgar was 5'9" tall and weighed 139 pounds at that time.  He had various military postings in the U.S. and Italy during WWII.  In 1956 Edgar was a tax-man with Shell Oil and covered the Rocky Mountain area.  He was a fascinating man who told stories for hours about his family.
