Notes: Jane, with her husband and children, moved to Canada and settled in Bosanquet and near Thedford in 1871 — about three years after the birth of their fourth child.

Jane died relatively young at about the age of 41 after a six-month problem with an abscess or dropsy. Reverend S. Knott of Thedford conducted her funeral service and preached from Job 19, 25, 26, 27.
