Notes:  In July 1906, Cecil at age 9 lived on his parents' farm at Lavenham, Manitoba.  They had 10 horses, 9 milche cows, 30 other cattle, 8 sheep and lambs, and five hogs and pigs.

In May 1918, Cecil completed the Particulars of Recruit form under the Military Service Act of 1917.  At that time he was single, 5'10" tall and had a ruddy complexion, brown eyes, and brown hair.  He was then still living at his parents' farm.
