Notes:  On 30 Dec 1869, Charles Fisher and Mary Catt, along with Mary's brother Henry Catt and Henry's fiancée Catherine Crawford, traveled from Bosanquet, Ontario, to Port Huron City, Michigan.  There they had a double wedding — and each couple witnessed the other couple's marriage.  Charles, a laborer, was 22 years old at that time and Mary was 21.
Charles and Mary's only daughter, Mary Ellen, was born 13 Oct 1870 in Bosanquet, Lampton, Ontario.  Charles and Mary resided most or all of their 47½ years married life in Thedford, Lambton, Ontario.

In the 1871 Canada census, Charles, 23, and Mary, 22, were living in Bosanquet, Lampton, Ontario.  Charles was a farmer, and they were Episcopal Methodist.  Their daughter Mary was 6 months old.

In the 1881 Canada census, Charles, 35, and Mary, 32, were living in Thedford, Ontario, and Charles was farming.  Their daughter Ellen was 12 years.

In the 1891 Canada census, Charles, 43, and Mary, 41, were still living in Lampton East, Ontario.  Charles was a labourer, and they were now listed as Salvation Army.  Their daughter Mary was 20 years.  Mary Ellen married Frank Thomas Hancock on 23 Sep 1891 in Thedford Village.

Charles and Mary Fisher In the 1901 Canada census, Charles, 52, and Mary, 52, were living in Thedford Village, Lampton East, Ontario.  Charles was a laborer.

In the 1911 Canada census, Charles A., 66, and Mary, 63, were living on King St., Thedford, Lampton East, Ontario.  Charles was a laborer, and there were listed as Salvation Army.  He died Friday, 11 May 1917 at their home on King Street, Thedford.  Mary died 18 May 1925 in Bosanquet, Lampton.  The photograph at the left shows Charles and Mary circa 1900.
