Notes: The family moved from Indiana to Northern Missouri (in 1864), then Nebraska, then
Southern Missouri, then Arkansas, and then to Oklahoma in the mid to late 1890s.
John and Mary Ann were farming in Noble Township, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, in 1900.
They were in the Ozark National Forest Reserve in Searcy County, Arkansas, in 1910.
Finally John and Mary Ann moved to California in December 1915 and settled in
Holtville in Imperial County.
