Notes: Forest, 13 Feb 1896: Mr. John Wright, son of Mr. James Wright, butcher, was married on Wednesday to Miss Nellie Hancock, at the residence of Mrs. Trenneman, by the pastor of the Baptist church, the Rev. C. N. Mitchell. Mr. Geo. Wright, of Petrolea, acted as the best man, while Miss Maud Hancock assisted the bride. The young couple will take up their residence on Bradley street.

At that time John was 22 years old and Nellie was 19.
