Notes: Matthew and his wife Martha owned land in West Deer Township (later named Richland Township), Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, for several decades.

When Matthew's brother Joseph and Joseph's wife Mary Ann sold their adjacent 59 acres and 271 perches on 23 Mar 1858, Matthew and Martha, along with three other Williams brothers and their wives, signed the Indenture to Quit Claim their interest in Joseph's land (Source 188).
