Notes: Marshall was to pay for Irene to divorce William McDonald
(her estranged husband) and to marry her on his return from World War II. However,
Marshall contracted TB abroad and died shortly after his return at the veterans
hospital in London. Needless to say they never were married.
Their two children were born before or during the war and were named with the
McDonald surname of her estranged husband. |
