Notes:  On 22 Jul 1886, it was reported that The marriage of Campbell Whitthorne to Miss Amanda Ayer, of Reno, was celebrated at the Episcopal Church last evening, in accordance with the impressive rites and ceremonies of this Church, the Rev. Bishop Whitaker officiating.  At eight o'clock a large number of invited friends gathered at the Church, and shortly afterwards the organ pealed out the wedding march and Mr. Ayer leading the bride, followed by Mr. Whitthorne and Mrs. Ayer.  . . . . The responses were then given and the young couple were pronounced man and wife.  The bride is one of Reno's fairest daughters, but last eveing in her wedding robes she was the very picture of loveliness, dressed in cream nun's veiling and satin, with veil and orange blossoms.  Mr. Whitthorne was in full evening dress.  . . . . The ceremony over, the party filed out of the church and returned to the home of the bride's parents where the friends of the newly-made couple were received, and treated bountifully to the good things of the land.

Mr. and Mrs. Whitthorne will return to the Pyramid Reservation and resume their positions, as Clerk and teacher respectively.
