Notes: At the time of their marriage Robert was an age 29 farmer from Napinka, Manitoba,
and Susanna was an age 28 spinster from Plympton, Ontario.
The photo at the right shows Robert and Susanna circa 1898. Included in the
photo are Susanna's brother Joseph Nickels and Joseph's wife Caroline Hales.
Unfortunately, Robert and Susanna's marriage was cut short. Susanna passed on
in Manitoba at age 32 just two weeks after the birth of their son Percy.
