Bess Williams obituary, from an unknown newspaper, and a funeral card for Bess C. Williams' service on 26 Sep 1976.     Memorial services were held Sunday evening at the Chapel of Cain Grove and Haverfield for the late Bess C. Williams of Fort Bragg.
    Rev. Warren Bonner of Napa officiated at the services.  Barbara Forsyth, vocalist, sang "I believe" and "You'll Never Walk Alone".  She was accompanied by Amy Hautala, organist.
    Private interment took place Saturday at Rose Memorial Park.
    Mrs. Williams was born in Golden, Miss, and came to California as a young lady, graduating from high school at Holtville, Calif.
    She married S. "CY" Williams on December 12, 1919 at Woodland, California.  He survives her at the family home here.
    She was employed for many years at the Redwood Coast Hospital prior to retirement.  She was a member of the Fuschia Society of Fort Bragg.
    Her death early Friday morning at the local convalescent hospital, followed a long illness.
    Other than her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Lorraine McDermott and Viola Duhig, both of Napa, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
    Memoriums to the cancer fund are preferred.
