D.V. McNeilly, District Attorney Investigator, Dies.
Doran V. McNeilly, 59, and investigator for the district attorney's office, died last night in a local hospital.  He lived at 3462 East Brown Avenue.
Members of his family reported McNeilly was taken to the hospital yesterday afternoon when he had difficulty breathing because of an asthmatic condition.  They said a heart attack apparently brought on by this condition caused his death.

Before beginning his law enforcement career, McNeilly was an automobile salesman.  He was a member of the Fresno County Peace Officers Association and the Check Investigators Association of California.
A native of Colfax, Wash., McNeilly moved to Fresno in 1923.
His survivors include his widow, Esther, a daughter Mrs. Norma Holt of Fresno, two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Peters and Mrs. Mabel Garner, both of Spokane, Wash.; five brothers, Hollis of Fresno, Kenneth of Colfax, Howard of Spokane, and Floyd and Burrell, both of Pendleton, Ore., and two grandchildren.
