Folk and Square Dance News
A business meeting of the Buzzsteppers was held at the Henry Lacaze home last week for the purpose of electing officers for the coming year. The following were elected to serve: Tom Wilson, president; Ed Malkemus, vice president; Anne Malkemus, secretary; Charles Busselen, treasurer; Henry Lacaze, Orin Martin and Raymond Smith, trustees. The emcee duties will be assumed by Ray Smith for the first Saturday night of the month andTom Wilson for the third Saturday night.
Those assembled voted in maintaining strickly a square and American round dance club, with the program being designed around those dances. Refreshments were served by the hostess, Beatrice Lacaze, at the conclusion of the meeting.
The group will hold its regular twice monthly dance this Saturday night at Carneros Hall. All square dancers are cordially invited to attend.
