Notes: In the 1930 U.S. census, John Mack and Jimmie S. Holt were living at 2273 Cedar
Street, Berkeley, California. John Mack was a car inspector for the Southern
Pacific Railroad Company. They now had three children, namely Frances, age
18 years, John, 17 years, and Jacqueline, 4 years. The family was renting
the house for $55.00 per month.
In the 1940 U.S. census, John and Jimmie were now living at 1830 Yosemite, Berkeley.
John was still an inspector for the railroad. His son John was a clerical worker
for the California Relief Agency. Frances was no longer at home. |
