Notes: In 1930 John and Myrtle Ballard were living at 2475 Ridgeview Avenue, in the Eagle Rock
area of Los Angeles, California. The 1930 census records John as teaching in
college. This was probably Occidental College, a nearby Presbyterian supported
college. Their two sons, Stanley and Robert, were now 21 and 16 years old
respectively. Thomas C. Wilkinson was boarding with the family. He was
from Canada(Eng.), and was an aviator in aviation school.
The house had been built in 1910 and had 1,936 Sq. ft. on a 11,169 Sq. Ft. lot. It
currently has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. |
